The leader had been dozing outside his den, his tail tip twitching while his blue eyes were nothing but a thin line, barely visible as he gazed at nothing, his mind wandering deeper into the unknown. That is until a shuffling caught his ears. Flicking his ears back, Wishingstar listened for a moment before opening his eyes all the way, forcing them to focus on the body that caught his attention.
Jadeblossom.
A younger warrior in the clan, built small but that didnt seem to hold her back. In fact during battle trainings she surprised him by slipping under his stomach, and catching him off guard. He respected her. Slowly getting to his paws, the blue tabby stretched out his back before ending the motion with a quick flex of his hind legs. Ah... Much better.
"Jadeblossom" he called, padding towards her on soft paws. "Do you mind going on a border patrol with me?"
Border Patrol. Always a.. well boring task. Nothing like sniffing around the edges of our territory and re marking the scent lines. Not like it seemed to matter, due to the fact that no other clans were around. In fact border patrol now took and extra TWO patrols to help scent mark Thunderclans territory as well. Oh well. The border patrols who are told to scent mark ThunderClan are also hunting patrols, told to bring back whatever prey they could from the lush, unhunted territory.
"I know its getting late, but i need to stretch my legs, and i havnt had a good run in a while."
