Looks: Alaula is an Irish Woolfhound dog, standing 32 inches at her shoulder, and weighing 120 pounds. Her weight mostly comes from her long legs and her muscle on her body. Her fur is soft and shaggy, and is mottled with black and grey. Her eyes are a jet black color. She has a large scar, about four inches in length, along the right side of her ribs. (She got this after falling down a small cliff and snagging on a rock as a younger pup.)
Personality: Alaula is a quiet dog, yet very kind. She is very protective of those she cares about, and her body size allows her to do just about anything to protect those in need. She loves to play and run, and she loves to hunt. Due to her fear of dogs bigger than her, she has found friendship in the creatures smaller than her, and that suits her just fine. She is a goof when she gets to know someone, but can be sensitive and serious when she needs to.
Likes: 1) Alaula loves water: she cannot get enough of it!
2) Any kind of exercise: running, swimming, hunting.
3) Sunshine: her favorite time of the day is when she can sunbathe.
Dislikes: 1) Strangers: she does not like strangers coming near those she cares for
2) Dogs that are bigger than her: She gets scared
3) New experiences: Alaula does not like change, and she goes by routine every day.
Special Skills: Due to her massive size and weight, she is a very sturdy dog. She is able to protect and shield those smaller than her. History: Alaula was born as one of many pups, yet she was the only one to survive. When Ala was two months old, a territorial male wolf killed her mother and siblings, leaving her to fend for herself. After growing up by herself, she stumbled upon the Shadow Clan and was taken in at 6 months old.
Roleplay Sample:
Shallow breathing turned into deep long breaths as Alaula extended her legs. The feel of the damp soil beneath her paws gave her a sense of satisfaction. Muscles stretched to their farthest, Ala’s paws landed on a smooth rock. Stopping suddenly, she glanced below her: water. She began to squat to jump in, only to smell something strange.
Nose turned up, she parted her teeth, trying to gather the scent better. ‘Rabbit’, her mind mumbled. She turned her feet, lowering herself to the ground. She slowly moved towards the scent, hoping for a meal. As she closed in the distance, she could see the brown little rabbit eating grass. As she was within a few meters of her prey, she saw it stop eating and perk its ears. Ala stopped walking and pounced on her prey. After locking her jaws around the rabbit, she whipped her tail in victory. She had dinner.
